The Story: An attack occurs inside a secure America housing facility in Saudi Arabia, killing many American civilians and an FBI agent. A team of FBI specialists enter Saudi Arabia in an attempt to find the culprit of this crime. The FBI team struggles to overcome the strict restrictions imposed on them by the Saudi government and faces many thrilling obstacles along the way.
Review: "Not another 'Hollywood' rendition of American misdoings in the Middle East," you say? Prepare to be surprised. Here's how the story evolves. An FBI team joins their Saudi counterparts to solve a murder and attempt to prevent future attacks. But the FBI team is isolated and protected, as they would be the obvious next target for any attack. Frustrated by their restricted movement and inability to search the crime site, the team forms a loose friendship with a Saudi member of the investigation the team. Eventually, they are granted more access to conduct an investigation. The divergence of cultures and forensic methodology causes conflict; ultimately, a grudging type of respect develops between the two teams. In the end, allowing the FBI to investigate also allows them room for error in movement in a strange and dangerous land.
This is a vicious thriller that includes culture clashes, forensics, kidnapping, religious doctrine and the self perpetuation of hate. It offers high-powered, heart-pumping action from start to finish.
