Dave’s Gourmet Jalapeño BBQ Sauce
Premium barbecue sauce is the base for this semi-homemade grilling staple.
Grilled Vegetable Medley
Toss these veggies on the grill using a grill pan or basket. Add some extra flavor with fresh herbs or dry rub, substituted for salt and pepper.
If you've heard about the benefits of red wine but do not drink, you might be tempted to try hot new supplements containing resveratrol, a substance found in red wine.
Two recent studies on laboratory mice showed increased endurance and prolonged life spans. Many supplement manufacturers and even wine makers are spreading the buzz about the benefits of this potential "wine in a pill."
But caution may be advised, as the mice were given extremely large doses of the ingredient and the Food and Drug Administration has taken its traditional neutral stand.
If you want to avoid the buzz of wine and the buzz about resveratrol, perhaps a glass of good old purple grape juice will do the trick.
Several recent studies have shown that the flavonoids found in grape juice provide antioxidant benefits very similar to those in red wine. So you can jump on the grape bandwagon while staying off the wine wagon.
