Gabbing is Good for Your Brain

Playing chess and doing crosswords aren't the only way to give your brain a workout, according to new research from University of Michigan. After testing more than 3,600 people, researchers concluded that a daily 10-minute talk with a friend could enhance brain functioning. Whether you choose to solve a challenging Sudoku puzzle or spark a friendly debate over the presidential race, findings suggest that the brain benefits are the same.
